Blast from the past #6: Halloween Drag Marble

Hey, and welcome to the 6th day of my "Blasts from the past week"! Only 2 days left! Then, we get to move on to recent pictures.... With my new camera! I'm excited, are you?

Well, today I have a "blast" from October of 2011, it's a Halloween manicure. A Halloween Drag Marble to be exact. I have no idea what colors I used. A peachy orange and a black creme. Check it out. It's pretty pathetic. Haha.

I think that I'm going to try a drag marble again! Sometime... And be cleaner with it!

Did you check out the Pure Ice Vinyl Remix Banners on my sidebar? I really want to review these products! They look really cool! Check it out: http://www.pureicecosmetics.com/?page_id=240

Blast from the past #5: Mystery OPI Mini Revamped

Hello everyone! Today, I am revamping my Mystery OPI Mini from yesterday's blast from the past post! I really have no idea what colors I used to sponge on the tips. Just a jelly red and a gold holographic. Take a look...

Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that the quality of my pictures about a year ago is horrible! Want to know a secret?!?! I was thinking the same thing! iPhone cameras are not the way to go. So...

I got a new camera! :) I'm so happy! It's really awesome! Look, I even got a Digital Photography book to go with it. I also have to have a good-quality camera for a class I'm taking, but that's beside the point. I have a good camera for nails! Happy day!

Well, you can expect some great-quality pictures on Caroline's Nails... After my blast from the past week, obviously! Thanks for reading, and come back tomorrow for another "blast"!!!

Blast from the past #4: Mystery OPI Mini

Wow, already on the 4th day of my "blasts from the past" series... It's kind of sad. I don't have any followers. Oh well, it takes time! So I'll keep posting!!! :)

Well, there's a mystery. A big mystery. I don't know the name of this polish. I remember getting this little OPI mini in a set of 3 around 2 years ago. I LOVE THIS COLOR. However, I don't know it's name. Oh well, atleast I have the beautiful color!

If you know the name of this color... Tell me!

Isn't that color beautiful!?!?! Tomorrow, I will show you what I added to this manicure.. And I ruined it. Stay tuned, and thanks for reading!

Blast from the past #2: SH Salon Effects

Hello, and welcome to the 2nd day of my blasts from the past series! Because I'm a new blogger, I'm giving you a look at some past manicures that I have done! Today, I will be showing you Sally Hansen Salon Effects.

I'm sure you know what Salon Effects are by now, but if you don't... Salon Effects are basically strips of nail polish that come in different colors and wacky designs. You stick them to your nail... And you're done. No dry time, and they are supposed to be good for up to 10 days.

This is Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Collide-O-Scope.

Not near as bad as yesterday, huh? I really liked these! I need to try them again, especially with the special collections (Avril Lavigne and Rock of Ages) coming out! Thank you for reading! :)

Blast from the past #1: Newspaper nails

Hi, and welcome to day 1 of Blasts from the Past Week! Today, I will be showing you newspaper nails!

Word of caution: This "blast from the past" is from over a year ago... so it is all sorts of uneven, my cuticles are filled with polish, I have tipwear/chips, and my camera skills are horrible. My apologies. I never thought I would be sharing these on a blog, haha!

All I remember about this manicure was that the gray base was OPI Skull and Glossbones from the Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides Collection.

Pretty bad, huh? However, the newspaper effect is really cool looking if you do it right. Like cutepolish! Check out her Newspaper Nails Tutorial below!

Thanks for reading! Check back tomorrow for another "blast form the past"!

This upcoming week... Blasts from the past!

Hi, well here I am... On my second post already! I feel so accomplished! :)
Today, I don't really have anything to show you... But I want to tell you what will be going on this upcoming week on Caroline's Nails. I am a new blogger, so before I dive right in to nail art, swatching, and everything else... I've decided to have... *drumroll please*

Blasts from the past!!!

From 5-26 to 6-2, I will be showing you some previous manicures that I have been doing over the past year (my addiction to everything nails started about a year ago). Each day, I will post a "blast", and they will all by from the "past". Haha, I'm too funny...

Now, why am I doing this? I was to have a "Blasts from the past" week to let you see what type of nail art I do, what colors I like most, and basically introduce you to Caroline!

I will be going on a "recent" manicure schedule starting back on July 3rd! Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my "Blasts from the past" week!

My first post!

Hello! This is Caroline. I'm starting a blog. This blog will be about nails, makeup, hair, and more! I really hope that this whole blog thing works out...

Today is my first day of summer. I had an exam this morning, and that was it. I need something to fill my summer, so hello blogging!

I probably should include a picture for my first blog post. This is Revlon's Facets of Fuchsia. I'm sure that everyone has seen it, but just in case you haven't- it's a duplicate of the expensive Deborah Lippman's Bad Romance.

Thanks for reading!
