For my water marble, I used the following polishes:
Left to Right: Wet n Wild French White Creme, Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange, Wet n Wild The Wonder Yellows, China Glaze Electric Beat
When I was doing this manicure, I had time... But I was tired, yet creative. I really didn't feel up to marbling 10 nails, but I wanted to marble! So I went with this! I did the "pointer and middle finger accent nails", which you may have seen on Chalkboard Nails, and painted the remaining nails a solid color! Here's my finish product:
My pointer and middle fingers are 2 coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme, followed by the water marbling with the remaining 3 colors. Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange and The Wonder Yellows took 3 coats to become opaque, while China Glaze Electric Beat only took 2 coats to reach complete opacity.
I think that water marbling is a ton of fun! It really creates an awesome and extremely unique look! However, it can be very very frusterating.... I speak from experience. This is my only water marble that is worthy of being shown, and it still isn't that good!
And if you're wondering, I cut my nails. A lot. While in Florida, I got a really bad break on my left hand pinky. It hurt sooooo bad. And because I'm a perfectionist, I had to cut all the other nails so that they were the same length. Which hurt a lot too!
So, do you like water marbling? Does it frusterate you? Are you successful a lot of the time? What do you think of mine? Leave a comment and let me know what you think! Thank you so much for reading!
