Water Marbled Skittles!

By now, I'm sure that you've heard about water marbling. If you don't, where have you been? Now, the Queen of Water Marbling is Colette of My Simple Little Pleasures. You can click HERE to here her YouTube Channel (water marbling tutorials!), and you can click HERE to see her amazing blog!

For my water marble, I used the following polishes:

Left to Right: Wet n Wild French White Creme, Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange, Wet n Wild The Wonder Yellows, China Glaze Electric Beat

When I was doing this manicure, I had time... But I was tired, yet creative. I really didn't feel up to marbling 10 nails, but I wanted to marble! So I went with this! I did the "pointer and middle finger accent nails", which you may have seen on Chalkboard Nails, and painted the remaining nails a solid color! Here's my finish product:

My pointer and middle fingers are 2 coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme, followed by the water marbling with the remaining 3 colors. Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange and The Wonder Yellows took 3 coats to become opaque, while China Glaze Electric Beat only took 2 coats to reach complete opacity.

I think that water marbling is a ton of fun! It really creates an awesome and extremely unique look! However, it can be very very frusterating.... I speak from experience. This is my only water marble that is worthy of being shown, and it still isn't that good!

And if you're wondering, I cut my nails. A lot. While in Florida, I got a really bad break on my left hand pinky. It hurt sooooo bad. And because I'm a perfectionist, I had to cut all the other nails so that they were the same length. Which hurt a lot too!

So, do you like water marbling? Does it frusterate you? Are you successful a lot of the time? What do you think of mine? Leave a comment and let me know what you think! Thank you so much for reading!

My Florida NOTD! :)

Hello ladies! Today, I will be showing you the NOTD that I wore while on my Florida trip! I meant to post this while I was on my vacation, but as I said yesterday, my iPad wouldn't let me attach pictures. So, I'm posting it today!

^My Right Hand^

^My Left Hand^

Products I Used:
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Base Coat
  • 2 coats of China Glaze Electric Beat (light blue)
  • 2 coats of Wet n Wild I Red a Good Book (red)
  • BM-205 and Wet n Wild Black Creme for stamping
  • Seche Vite Top Coat

I know the stamping is not very good, but I'm pretty new to stamping, and I want to improve my skills! And they only way that I can improve is to practice, right?

What do you think? Do you like the manicure? Are you new to stamping? Do you like the accent nail trend? Leave a comment and let me know! Thanks for reading!

Pink Glittery Zebras....?

Yes, you read the title right... Pink glittery zebras... I think yes!!! I really love this manicure! It was so much fun to create! :)

Oh, and I recently hit 9 followers! Yay! :) *happy dances*

You may recognize the pointer and middle finger nails... That's because they were popularized by Sarah of Chalkboard Nails! I really like this trend!

Here's what I used on each nail, all of then are with base/top coat just to get that out of the way.

Pointer and Middle: 2 coats of OPI Sparrow Me the Drama stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme and BM-223.
Thumb, Ring, and Pinky: 1 coat of OPI Sparrow Me the Drama followed by 3 coats of Wet n Wild Sparked (a pink and silver glitter).

I really like this manicure, a lot! Now that we got the nail stuff out of the way, we have some stuff to talk about... I'm going to Oklahoma City for the next week.... So I don't know if I will be able to post or not. I'm really sorry if I don't post (please don't unfollow me). But I will try my best to post!

Anyway, I better be going! Thanks for reading!

OPI Planks A Lot and China Glaze Luxe and Lush (NOTD)

Hello! Today, I have a NOTD that I wore a few days ago! Enjoy!

On my nails, I started out with OPI Ridge Filler. Then, I added 2 coats of OPI Planks A Lot from last yeat's Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides Collection. For an accent nail, I added 2 coats of China Glaze Luxe and Lush.

I really like Planks A Lot! It's a beautiful pastel purple, and an awesome 2 coater. However, Luxe and Lush was a different story. I really like the concept of the irregular flake/glitter. It's really cool looking and beautiful. But mine just dried really lumpy and thick! It's a bitter sweet type of polish. Really cool, but a pain. Have you tried Luxe and Lush? What do you think?

Don't you like my picture? I took it with my new camera! Haha, I love that camera! I am really happy that I got it! :)

Thank you so much for reading! Have a great day!

Blast from the past #8: Hello Summer!

Hello, and welcome to the final day of my "Blasts from the Past" Series! Today's "blast" is from the past, but not too long ago! I wore this manicure about 2 weeks ago, around the time my summer started! Hence the title, "Hello Summer!"

The "accent nail" trend is really big, so I thought I would jump in on it! My accent nail is Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow, and all the other nails are Sally Hansen Caribbean Coral. I really like the coral and yellow together! What do you think?

Well, that's it for my "Blasts from the Past" Series! I hope that you enjoyed it! Tomorrow, I will be back with a recent manicure! Thanks for reading!
