Wow, what a long title! Haha, hello everyone! How are yoĆ¼? I'm good, but I've been very busy lately... So I've been making short posts. Today I have another quick post!
This is 2 coats of Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint, you can click HERE for a normal swatch of this polish. I followed it with one coat of Spoiled (by Wet n Wild) My Saturn Broke Down. This also includes base/top coat. These pictures were also taken a day after I actually polished the nails, so there is a bit of tip wear... Anyway, I really liked this layering combination!
Thank you so much for reading and commenting!

Swatch: Nicole by OPI "Baby" Blue
Hello! Today I will be showing you the second polish that I picked up for my bestfriend! Yesterday I showed you Nicole by OPI Coral Denominator, which you can see HERE.
Today, I have Nicole by OPI "Baby" Blue.
Above is only 2 coats, with no topcoat! The formula was perfect, especially for a color like this! I was very impressed! It's your basic "baby" blue creme, nothing else, except for the good formula!
Whanks for reading!

Swatch: Nicole by OPI Coral Denominator
I recently found a 2-pack of Nicole by OPI at TJ Maxx for only $7.99! What a great deal! I actually picked up this set for my friend (who also loves nail polish) because she had picked up some polish for me not so long ago. There were a wide variety of color selections, but I chose Nicole by OPI Coral Denominator and "Baby" Blue.
Nicole by OPI Coral Denominator is a very heavy golden shimmer in a coralish-pinkish base. This is three coats. The formula was little thin, but nothing uncontrolable, and definitely worth it!
This is such a pretty color! I love it! But I already have a ton polish, and my friend is just starting her obsession, plus she loves these types of colors, so I decided to gift it to her! She's acutally worn it already and loves it too!
Thanks for reading!

Before I gave my best friend her gift, I had to make sure that the polish was of good quality and worth giving to her... Actually, I just wanted to swatch it... So here is a swatch of Nicole by OPI Coral Denominatior.

Ruffle Accent Manicure! :)
Hello! Today, I'll be showing you a manicure that I wore about a week ago! I loved my ruffle manicure a ton, but I was in the mood for a more "plain"manicure, so I went with two in one!
Each of my normal fingers are 2 coats of Nails Inc Maddox Street, which I won in a giveaway from Wendy of Wendy's Delights. My accent nail is 2 coats of Sally Hansen Lickety-Split Lime with the ruffles in both of the colors. All nails also have base/top coat.
Now that I look at it... It reminds of of Halloween, haha! I'll have to try something like this again in October!
Have a great day! Thanks for reading!

Haul #4! Bath and Body Works and Ulta!
You thought I was on a no-buy, huh? Well I was.... More on that later on.
Right Top: Ulta Professional Nail Lacquer Beachy Keen Set of 5 for $9.95 (a $18.75 value). Names (from left to right) are Urchin, Sun Kissed, Golden Rays, Low Tide, and Sand Dollar
Right Bottom: My free gift! I spent $17.50 on Ulta products and got this awesome free present! It came with 2 eyeshadow quads, blush, lip gloss, 3 brushes, a dual-ended eyeliner, full-sized mascara, lipstick, nail polish (!!!!), and Instant Nourish Facial Moisterizer!
Not Pictured: I also got Ulta Brush and Sponge Cleaner, and Eyebrow Brush and Comb, and an Angled Eyeshadow Brush. I figured I wouldn't include a picture because most of you know what those are!
I got everything from Ulta for about $28! Great deal!
Now, onto how I was on a "no-buy". Well that didn't really work out! Ulta had such a great deal for the free gift, and I couldn't pass it up! I saved a TON (like $100 I believe). I also needed the hand sanitzers and lotions! So I think that this is an exception! I think it's a LOW-BUY now. Just incase I see anything really extrodinary or awesome!
What do you think of my haul? Does anything spark your interest? Do you want to see any of these products featured on Caroline's Nails? I would be more than happy to do some swatch and review posts! Just comment what you want to see! Thanks for reading!

A Quick Update....
Hello to my lovely followers! I'm up to 28 now! How awesome?!?!?
I'm sure that a few of you have noticed that I really haven't posted that much during the past few days. Well, that's because I got a new laptop! Yay! Well, I'm having a really hard time moving all my pictures from my camera to my computer. Every time I plug in my camera, it doesn't work! How stupid!?!?
I'm already uploaded some photography sucessfully, so hopefully some nail photos will be next! I feel really bad about not posting as frequently/ But rest assured, once my camera starts learning how to cooperate with my new laptop, I'll be posting everyday!
Thanks for reading! Have you ever had computer/camera problems?

Ruffle Manicure!
Hello to my dear 25 followers! You guys are awesome! Sorry for the lack of posting yesterday! I had a very busy day, so I apologize!
As you can tell by the title, today, I'll be showing you a ruffle manicure! This new manicure trend is very, very easy! If you want to see a tutorial on how to get the look, check out Chalkboard Nails.
For this manicure I started off with 1 coat of Wet n Wild I Red A Good Book. I followed the tutorial (using the round end of a bobby pin as a dotting tool) and used the polishes, Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint, Wet n Wild Wet Cement, and Wet n Wild On A Trip. If you want to see swatches of all of these polishes and more information on the set they came in, you can click HERE.
Does this manicure look hard? YES. Was this manicure hard? NO. Is it worth a shot? YES.
I got a ton of compliments on this manicure! I was told how awesome and complicated it looked, when it was actually pretty easy! I can definitely improve on my technique, a little bit, but other than that, 100% awesome!
Have you done a ruffle manicure before? Do you want to do one now?

Another Blog Award! The Liebster Award! :)
Hello! I was recently tagged by the amazing Tintin over at The Colors of my Empress Nails to recieve the Liebster Award! Two awards, I feel so awesome! If you don't already follow her blog, do it now!
Here's the Official Rules of the Liebster Award:
Now, for the people I tag, you get to answer these questions:
Here's the lucky 11 people who are tagged by me:
And that's my post on the Liebster Award! Once again, that you to Tintin for nominating me! And congrats and have fun to the people I nominated! I feel so special getting not 1, but 2, blog awards! *happy dance*
If you want to see my post on the Versatile Blogger Award, click HERE.
~Caroline
Here's the Official Rules of the Liebster Award:
- Each person tagged must post 11 things about themselves.
- They must also answer the 11 questions the 'tagger' has set for them.
- They must create 11 more questions to ask bloggers they have decided to tag.
- They must then choose 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers and tag them in their post.
- These lucky bloggers must then be told.
- There's no tag backs.
The Liebster Blog Award is an all around great award! The Liebster Award is given to bloggers with less than 200 followers, in order to help them gain more followers and be exposed to even more blogs! Awesome, huh?
11 Things About Caroline:
- My name is Caroline Jewel, and I'm 22 years old.
- I'm single! :)
- I am a girly girl. One of the girliest girls ever.
- Despite being a girly girl, I enjoy outdoor sports such as rappling, hiking, biking, etc.
- I suck at normal sports. Like suck. Really, really bad. However...
- I find my home in the arts! I am very involved in dancing and singing and recently acting!
- Out of the 3 (dancing, singing, acting), dancing is my favorite!
- I try to be very healthy and take care of my body most of the time, but everyone needs to treat themselves once and a while!
- My favorite colors are red and black!
- I have an addiction to coffee. I am not fully awake nor in a good mood without it! And sometimes I would rather have coffee or sometimes other drinks (such as tea, smoothies, soda, etc) rather than food or a meal! Lol!
- MICHAEL JACKSON IS AMAZING.
The 11 questions to answer from Tintin:
- What maked you
decide to start a nail blog? Well, I annoy alot of the people that I'm frequently around about nail stuff, so after much contemplation, I decided to start a mainly nail (some fashion, beauty, makeup, etc.) blog to share my
obsessionpastime with other people who share the same interests as me! - Aside from nail art, what hobbies do you consider your favorite? I really enjoy dancing, acting, and singing. Dancing the most.
- If you can have your own brand of nail polish, what would you name it and why? Oh wow! That's hard! I would probably name it Polish for the Hoarders, or PFTH for short. Lame, I know. It was all I could come up with!
- What is your favorite brand of nail polish so far? Wow, another hard one! I can never pass up a good decent-priced OPI or China Glaze, but my favorite brand would probably be Wet n Wild and all of their "branches". They are great quality polishes, especially for their amazing polish!
- What is your favorite nail art of yours so far? (Please provide a photo) What is up with all of the hard questions, Tintin? Ummmm, I really like both My First Skittles Manicure! and Pink Glittery Zebras....?. Sorry, I can't add a picture... My comptuer is doing some strange stuff right now and it won't let me.... So I hope you can do with the links! :)
- What was your dream to be when you were a little kid? Well, first I wanted to own a hotel. Then, I wanted to be a hairdresser. Then, a doctor. Then, a teacher. I was a very indecisive child. Then, I wanted to be a dancer and singer! I'm kind of living that one right now!
- If you were a given a chance to change your name what would it be? I would go for something different... Like Addriana or Allegra. I like names that start with A!
- What is your favorite color when wearing a polish? I don't really have a specific color, actually! I really like darker, vampy colors. However, I like to keep a really open mind when it comes to polish. Therefore, I really like anything!
- How did you come up with your blog name? Well, I took my name. Added an 's to it to make it possessive. Then added Nails, considering my name is mostly about nails. Caroline's Nails. It was a very hard and long process...
- What are the things that you can't last a day without? Nail polish, coffee, music, makeup, iPhone, labtop, water, clothes.... I'm a needy person.
- Why do you do nail blogging? I think that blogging about nails and my other personal interests is a good way to express my love for them and not annoy all the people around me who may not be as serious about these obsessions as I am. Its fun to share what I like with people around me who like them too. Its cool to socialize with people who are just like me and feel accepted by them. And I love it. It is fun to spend a little of my time everyday leaving my mark on the blogging world. *end dramatic speech*
Now, for the people I tag, you get to answer these questions:
- Why did you start your blog?
- Do you ever feel like you won't get more followers? Do you ever loose hope and think that blogging was a bad idea? Why?
- What keeps you motivated to keep blogging?
- What is your favorite brand of polish?
- What is your favorite nail art trend?
- How do you wear your nails most of the time? Long, short, medium? Plain color? Crazy art? Stamping? I want to know!
- What is your favorite manicure that you've ever done? Post a picture or link!
- With nails, beauty, and blogging out of the way, what are your other hobbies or pastimes?
- What is your favorite song?
- Who is your favorite band/artist?
- What are your top 5 favorite blogs?
Here's the lucky 11 people who are tagged by me:
- Meganails
- Too Much Time On Her Hands
- Jamegackie
- Polishophrenia
- The Frenzied Polisher
- Romance De La Luna, Luna
- Lightwell Nails
- Pin Intended
- Sassy Paints
- Nail + Colors
- Life of Polish
And that's my post on the Liebster Award! Once again, that you to Tintin for nominating me! And congrats and have fun to the people I nominated! I feel so special getting not 1, but 2, blog awards! *happy dance*

The Lacquered Nails' NOTD and Nomination Post
and Nevermind Suzi's WOW!! I won a blog award =D Post
There's my lovely Versatile Blogger badge! :)

- Let them know that you have nominated them.
- Share 7 random facts about yourself.
- Thank the bloggers that have nominated you.
- Add the Versatile Blogger Award picture to your blog post.
I think that most people who recieve the Versatile Blogger Award have trouble nominating new bloggers because they mostly follow already-established blogs. I'm one of those people too. However, I think that this award is a great way for me to discover new blogs, a great way for my followers (20 now!) to discover new blogs, and the people I nominate to discover my blog, along with the other bloggers that I nominate! It's an all around awesome award! Anyway, here's the bloggers that I nominate:
- Glitznglammer
- Too Much Time On Her Hands
- Romance De La Luna, Luna
- Polishophrenia
- Suburban Living Blog
- Jamegackie
- Welcome to Brianna's World!
- Beauty Scraps
- Polished Art
- Jas's Blingtastic Nail Blog
- MegaNails
- Nails for the Sake of Sanity
Congrats to the people I've nominated! I know that I got nominated twice for this award, so if you've already been nominated or already recieved the award, I'm sorry! It just means that I ton of people think that you have an award-worthy blog! :)
And now for the 7 random facts:
- I've been addicted to nail polish for about a year now, but I just decided to make a nail blog about 2 months ago! And I also want my blog to be a big success, but I know that it takes a lot of time and effort to create a really successful blog! And I my goal is to have 50 followers by the end of August... But I really don't think I'm gonna make it. Oh well.
- Along with being addicted to nail polish, I love everything else that has been labeled as "girly". I love clothes. I love shoes. I love purses. I love makeup. I love fashion. I love hair. I love accesories. If it's girly, I love it!
- I have another addiction... MUSIC! I always have to have music of some sort playing. I love every single genre of music, except for country and dubstep! Yuck!
- My favorite person ever is Michael Jackson. I love him so much. Nothing will ever change that. I do get a lot of hate for loving him, so please don't hate on me here!
- In addition to Michael Jackson, my other favorite artists/bands are Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, and Paramore!
- Right now I work as a secretary at a car dealership. I do a lot of calling, filing, mail, etc. And all of it takes a toll on my nails....
- I think that getting products to review and getting nail mail are about the most amazing things EVER!
And that's about it for the Versatile Blogger Award! Thank you again to the two lovely ladies who nominated me! And congrats to the bloggers that I nominated! And thank you for reading!

Water Marbled Skittles!
By now, I'm sure that you've heard about water marbling. If you don't, where have you been? Now, the Queen of Water Marbling is Colette of My Simple Little Pleasures. You can click HERE to here her YouTube Channel (water marbling tutorials!), and you can click HERE to see her amazing blog!
For my water marble, I used the following polishes:
My pointer and middle fingers are 2 coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme, followed by the water marbling with the remaining 3 colors. Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange and The Wonder Yellows took 3 coats to become opaque, while China Glaze Electric Beat only took 2 coats to reach complete opacity.
I think that water marbling is a ton of fun! It really creates an awesome and extremely unique look! However, it can be very very frusterating.... I speak from experience. This is my only water marble that is worthy of being shown, and it still isn't that good!
And if you're wondering, I cut my nails. A lot. While in Florida, I got a really bad break on my left hand pinky. It hurt sooooo bad. And because I'm a perfectionist, I had to cut all the other nails so that they were the same length. Which hurt a lot too!
So, do you like water marbling? Does it frusterate you? Are you successful a lot of the time? What do you think of mine? Leave a comment and let me know what you think! Thank you so much for reading!

Left to Right: Wet n Wild French White Creme, Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange, Wet n Wild The Wonder Yellows, China Glaze Electric Beat
When I was doing this manicure, I had time... But I was tired, yet creative. I really didn't feel up to marbling 10 nails, but I wanted to marble! So I went with this! I did the "pointer and middle finger accent nails", which you may have seen on Chalkboard Nails, and painted the remaining nails a solid color! Here's my finish product:

Daily Defense Cream
1.6 fl. oz. (Suggested Retail Price $95 at https://www.vitaphenol.com/)
How it Works:

Cools and refreshes skin while leaving a luxurious subtle sheen and reverses the appearance of fine lines and imperfections.
Key Ingredients:
Doctor Recommended Use:
After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer to face, neck and decollete as a final step in your skincare regime. Aplly under sunscreen. Use twice a day.
What is Vitaphenol Complex?
The Vitaphenol Complex is a specially formulated blend of medically compounded Mangosteen (a rich source of xanthones), Pomegranate (helps give strength and support to skin), and Green and White Tea (reduce damage caused by sun and provide immunity boost) that visibly perfect the skin tone. This complex is exclusive to Vitaphenol and is a key formula for every product.
The above was taken from Vitaphenol.
I was very impressed with the backaging from Vitaphenol. My package came in the mail nicely wrapped, in a nice box, with the product in a tube with a pump for easy use (see above). Here's a look at all the sides of the box Vitaphenol came in. You can enlarge the picture for information such as ingredients and instructions.

Here's a look at all the sides of the box Vitaphenol came in. You can enlarge the picture for information such as ingredients and instructions.
Now, it's time for the actual review. Let's start of by how I used it. Now, I am sort of shy when it comes to new skincare products. I get used to one product and stick with it. I can break out very easily, and who wants to walk around with acne all over their face? Not me! Now, I am a strong believer in Proactiv. I use all 3 steps, everyday. I love it. It helps prevent acne, and I never break out when I use it. Plus, it does miracles for my skin. But whenever I got Vitaphenol in the mail, that all changed. I changed my daily skincare regime. In the morning as I got ready, I used Step 1 (Renewing Cleanser) and Step 2 (Revitalizing Toner) from Proactiv. I went ahead and skipped Step 3, and used the Vitaphenol Daily Defense Cream. When I was in Florida on my trip, I used Proactiv Step 1, Proactiv Step 2, Vitaphenol Daily Defense Cream, and then Aveeno Face Sunscreen in SPF 30. At night, I went ahead and washed my face with hot water, then put the Vitaphenol Daily Defense Cream straight on. I've been doing this for the past 2 weeks.
That's how I used Vitaphenol. But did I like it? YES! I loved it! The smell was great, and the texture was great. It really did reduce the appearence of fine lines and wrinkles, and it really made my skin very soft and hydrated! And guess what? I didn't break out! However, the only downer is that I did get a few zits. I got some annoying itty bitty pimples on the crease on my chin, and on the sides of my nose. But they weren't very visible at all. These pimples were probably because my skin really likes Proactiv Step 3, and I hadn't used it for over 2 weeks. So, that's the only downer.
In case you're wondering. This is what Vitaphenol looks like. It's sort of a sheer-white color. Below is one "pump" of the product.
I really liked Vitaphenol. It did great things for my face. I would give Vitaphenol Daily Defense Cream a 8 out of 10. The only reason it isn't a 10 is that it didn't help reduce acne. So, if you have very dry skin or intense fine lines or wrinkles... Get Vitaphenol! It's sure to help!
For more information on Vitaphenol, please visit https://www.vitaphenol.com/.

A Facebook Page and New Blog! :)
Hello everyone! I don't really have any nails to show you today... but I have two very exciting announcements for you.... Here we go!
And that's all I really have for today! I have a lot of stuff coming up on the blog, such as swatches, reviews, some nail art, and the 3rd week of the Penguin Makeup Challenge! Sounds fun, huh? Also, don't forget that my goal is to have 50 followers by the end of August! I don't know if I'll make it, but I sure hope so! Anyway, enough of my blabbering....
Does your blog have a Facebook? Leave a link and I'll check it out! Did you check out and "like" Caroline's Nails on Facebook? Please do! What do you think of The Giveaway Guide? A good idea or not really? Did you check it out? Thanks for reading! Have a great, wonderful, fantastic Sunday!

- Caroline's Nails now has a Facebook Page! You can check it out HERE. I decided that almost 3 months after blogging, I should start a Facebook page! I'll be posting all my manicures and announcing new blog posts! Maybe some additional stuff too! Hopefully my Facebook page grows along with my blog! :)
- I now have a second blog, The Giveaway Guide! Check it out HERE. Yes, I started a new blog! I won't be posting manicures there, but as the name suggests, I'll be posting about giveaways! Instead of spamming my blog with giveaway announcements for extra entries, I'll be posting anything and everything about giveaways on The Giveaway Guide! It'll keep me (and hopefully other bloggers) up to date about the latest giveaways in the blog-o-sphere!

The Penguin Makeup Challenge: Black and Color
Hello everyone! I just got back home from Florida! While I was gone I had some scheduled posts, and then some pictures ready so that I could write the posts on my iPad while I was there! Well, that didn't really work out! I couldn't post pictures! How lame is that? Therefore, I'm posting the 2nd Week of the Penguin Makeup Challenge 2 days lake, sorry!
Today's (or Wednesday's) theme is Black and Color!

Today's (or Wednesday's) theme is Black and Color!
If you want to see my creation for last week, Black and White, you can click HERE.
Last week, I went with a really subtle and "safe" type of eye look. I noticed that a lot of the other ladies' makeup looks were a lot more creative and crazy! So this week, I went all out! I hope you like it as much as I do!
Both eyes:

Wet n Wild Value Set Swatches: Part 2
Hello to my awesome followers! I'm still on vay-cay in Florida, so this is a scheduled post! This is Part 2 of my swatches of my Wet n Wild Value set that I got at Walgreens for $9.99!
You can see my haul post HERE.
You can see Part 1 HERE.
Today, I'll be showing you Part 2 of this value set, which is the Wet n Wild FastDry polishes! Once again, I have finger swatches for you! Here we go!
What pretty colors, right?!?! The formula on all these were nice. Not really any problems. They were quick drying, so 3 coats was no big deal. The brushes were nice too, the standard FastDry brush!
FINAL VERDIT: This half of the set is nice! Some great polishes in some great colors! I would buy the set for these colors... even though that would be a rip-off, haha! If you don't already own any of these polishes (or the polishes from post 1)... BUY THE SET! It is a great deal for only $9.99! You get great colors, nice formulas, good dry time, for a good price! You can't beat it!
Do you like these FastDry polishes? Do you own any of them, which ones? Have you bought the Value Set yet? Are you going to buy the set now? Leave a comment and let me know! Thanks for reading!

Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange.
A orange glitter/shimmer polish. Pretty sheer, this is 4 thin coats. However, I bet you could get away with 3 thicker coats. No top coat.
Wet n Wild FuchsiaRama.
A lovely pink creme polish. It dries to a rubber (in-bettween matte and glossy) finish. This is 3 coats, no top coat.
Wet n Wild The Wonder Yellows.
A frosty yellow. A frost that people should like, its so pretty! This is 3 coats without topcoat.
Wet n Wild Sage in the City.
A shimmery green. 3 coats, and again, no top coat.

Wet n Wild Value Set Swatches: Part 1
Hello dear followers! Yes, I'm still in Florida today! And yes, this is a scheduled post! :)
Whenever I posted my Haul from Oklahoma City, a lot of you commented on the Wet n Wild Value Set that came with 8 great polishes for only $9.99! I got this set at Walgreens, and you can see that post HERE.
Today, I will be showing you Part 1 of this value set, which is the Wet n Wild MegaLast polishes! These are finger swatches because I didn't have time to do all my hand- I hope you don't mind! Let's get started!
Now that you've seen all the lovely colors, let's talk formula and brushes! Okay, these brushes... A huge! Surprisingly, I don't mind them! You have to be very careful when applying the polish because the brush can make the polish pool and run. However, if you apply thin coats, then it's amazing! All the coats I used for the swatches were thin coats. I'm sure that the 3 coaters would be 2 coaters if my coats weren't so thin! Despite being careful then applying, they went on easily! Dry time was good!
FINAL VERDICT: This half of the set is great (you'll just have to check back in a few days to see the other half of the set)! I would by the value set just for these 4 polishes! If you don't mind careful application, I would get them! The formula is GREAT!
So, do you own any Wet n Wild MegaLast polishes? If so, which ones? Any of these four? What's your favorite polish in this post? I want to hear! Leave a comment below! Thanks for reading!

Wet n Wild I Need A Refresh-Mint.
A lovely "tiffany" inspired blue creme. This is 3 coats. No top coat.
Wet n Wild Wet Cement.
A basic taupe creme that's great for fall. Again, this is 3 coats with no top coat.
Wet n Wild I Red A Good Book.
A basic and classy red jelly. This is 2 coats. No top coat.
Wet n Wild On A Trip.
A beautiful purple creme. Again, 2 coats with no top coat.

Gradient Nails!
I'm sure that everyone has heard of Gradient Nails, and if you don't... I don't know where you've been for the past 3 or 4 months. Gradient Nails are so quick and easy, plus they look great! I'm not really going to go into much depth on how to do them, so you can check out THIS great picture tutorial by The Nailasaurus!
On my Haul from Oklahoma City (Click HERE), a lot of you commented that you liked Sally Hansen Sun Kissed! So I used it in the gradient!
Before anyone says anything, yes, I do know that I have a kink on my pointer finger, and yes, I do know that it looks really bad!
I started with base coat, and then painted on 2 coats of Sally Hansen Sun Kissed. After that, I followed the tutorial to create a gradient with Sun Kissed and Nails Inc Piccadilly Circus. Then, I finished off with a coat of Seche Vite.
I am really into the gradient effect! When I wore this manicure, I got a ton of compliments! It was messy and hard to clean up, but I can get past that! However, I didn't really like this gradient a lot. I just think I need a little more practice with the gradient! But I'm sure I'll get it!
By the way, today, I'm leaving for a trip to Florida! I'll be gone for a week, but don't worry, I have posts scheduled, plus I'll have internet! :)
So what do you think? Tell me! Do you like the gradient effect? Have you tried it? Did it take you some practice to get it down correctly? Thanks for reading and commenting!

Milani HD (NOTD)
Hello dear followers! How are you today? I'm really great, because now I have 19 followers! It puts me in such a great mood to find out that people actually want to read my blog! I'm going to set a goal for myself today.... I want to have 50 followers by the end of August! Think I can do it? I hope so! :)
Today, I will be showing you my most recent NOTD, Milani HD. You may remember it from here.
Milani HD is my only holo (sadly). I think that I need more (when I'm off my no-buy)... Anyway, I honestly don't know if it is a scattered holo or a linear holo. Maybe it's in-between. I'll go with that. Either way, it's a beautiful polish!
For this manicure I used:
And no, I didn't use top coat. Top coat is supposed to "ruin" or "weaken" the holo effect. And I didn't want that to happen!
Despite HD being beautiful in the sunlight, it looks gorgeous in the shade too. Look below! Isn't that pretty?
So, what do you think? Do you like Milani HD? Do you think it's a scattered or linear holo? Do you own it? What other holos to you own? I want to hear, so leave a comment!
Thank you so much for reading!

The Penguin Makeup Challenge: Black and White
You may possibly remember when I blogged about The Penguin Makeup Challenge back on July 12th... that long ago!!! You can see my post HERE.
Well, July has come and gone, and now I'm here with August 1st, the first day of The Penguin Makeup Challenge! For today and the following 2 Wednesdays, I'll be joining some lovely bloggers with this makeup challenge! They figured that there were too many nail challenges out there, so we needed a makeup challenge! So, I accept the challenge!
Today, August 1, the challenge was Black and White. I chose to do an eye look, so here is the finished product!
Products I Used:
- Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal in Glam Black
- Ulta Iceland (eyeshadow)
- Ulta Smoke (eyeshadow)
- Ulta Black Ink (eyeshadow)
Now before you say anything, I know... My eyebrows are looking really bad. I didn't think of plucking them... Shame on me. They'll be beter in my next post, I swear! No hate, please! :)
By the way, around mid-July, I said that I was hoping for 10-15 followers by the end of July! Today, it's August 1st and I have 15 followers! Yay! I wonder how many people will be following me by the end of August.....?
Thanks for reading!
